HIRING; Volunteer Coordinator/Instructor, Overland Park, KS 7/16
Heartland Therapeutic Riding is hiring a Full-Time Volunteer Coordinator/Instructor to join our staff!
Duties include but are not limited to;
Schedule roughly 110 volunteers weekly for Therapeutic/Adaptive Riding lessons and Occupational Therapy Utilizing Hippotherapy, Schedule volunteers for special events such as fundraisers, summer camps, rider evaluations etc., Maintain and update volunteer training materials, Conduct regular volunteer trainings, recruit, reward and retain volunteer force, teach Therapeutic Riding/Adaptive lessons (number of lessons flexible).
Experience as a Volunteer Coordinator preferred, CTRI preferred – but we are willing to help the right person become certified.
