Boots in the Barn: A call to action to serve First Responders (CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION AVAILABLE)

Presented by Deputy Daniel Pipoly and Saebra Pipoly

This presentation was granted the designation of “DE” hours for the CEUs of PATH Intl. Certified Professionals.

Presentation Summary:
You don’t have to have a program just for the First Responders…there is more than one way to get their boots in the arena and around the horses and barn!
We are challenging YOU to serve our First Responders through interactions with our wonderful equine coworkers and even the participants!
This presentation will incorporate a mixture of activities, PowerPoint, video, personal stories, and dynamic lecture to help attendees learn why it is important to serve First Responders, to better understand the unique features of the culture, and understand the daily struggles they face and the impact those challenges have on not only their physical and mental health but also their relationships .

  1. This was such an inspiring presentation! I liked how you broke it down by talking about the first responder groups and the culture of the people in these service positions. I see how important it is to work with their strengths and personality types and how they benefitted from helping the kids they worked with. The pictures you included clearly showed how both the kids and the first responder volunteers were getting so much out of the programs. I wish I was a millionaire that could fund as many of these programs as possible!!! I have a nephew who joined the marines right out of high school and was sent to Afghanistan. He has suffered with ptsd for the past 20+ years. Luckily he at least has a service dog to help him emotionally, but I wish he could find a program like this and would consider attending it. Thank you for all that you and your husband do to help make these programs happen. God Bless.
