1:1 Instructor Development Intensives – April 2025

This April, take advantage of a rare opportunity to step away from your daily routine and focus entirely on your own professional growth as an adaptive/therapeutic riding instructor. Join me at my private facility in Phoenix, Arizona for a fully customized, immersive learning experience tailored to your goals, teaching style, and program needs.

These in-person intensives are designed to support instructors at any stage—whether you’re new to the field or looking to refine and elevate your current practice.

Available Date Ranges

Choose from a 1-day or 2-day intensive experience during the following date ranges. Space is limited and scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

• April 8–11
• April 15–17
• April 22–25
• April 29–May 2

Participants are responsible for their own travel and lodging. Local recommendations are available upon request.

What’s Included Each Full Day

Each day is fully personalized and includes:

• Lesson Observation
  Observe real adaptive and traditional riding lessons in action, with time to debrief and discuss. Students love when I have guests and you will be incorporated in to the lesson as appropriate.
• Private Formal Lesson
  Receive a mounted or unmounted lesson focused specifically on your instructional and professional development goals. Lesson type will depend on horse and equipment availability and your experience. One lesson per intensive day.
• Hands-On Horse Time
  Participate alongside me during the preparation, warm-up, and schooling of horses used in my program—observe, ask questions, and get involved.
• Instructor & Program Development
  Bring videos or photos of your students for review and feedback.
  Practice mock mounts, dismounts, or teaching scenarios.
  Explore strategies for lesson planning, student progress tracking, adaptations, and more.
• Take-Home Tools
  You’ll receive relevant sample forms and documents aligned with your focus areas—ready to implement in your own program.
• Lunch Included
  A midday break at a local cafe is provided to allow for continued conversation and planning.

• 2-Day Intensive: $595

This is a unique opportunity for in-depth, one-on-one development in a real-world teaching environment.
