Welcome to the AUGUST 2024 live, interactive, and FUN Lesson Planning Party workshop where you will be guided in collaborating with other instructors to create a MONTH+ worth of lesson plans/progressions from ONE arena setup. Why ONE arena setup? We’re all about keeping instructor lives simple while also optimizing their ability to promote independence and progression in every ability rider they teach.
During this workshop, each weekly lesson plan will be broken down into three different adaptations to meet the needs of different skill and ability levels of students by adjusting the plans to work for “Supported Riders”, “Emerging Independence”, “Independent”. So really….you will be walking away with 9-12 (yes NINE to TWELVE) lesson plans that you can easily implement with the different class formats and students you may work with.
Participants are welcome to ask questions and give specific scenarios based of their students so they can learn how to adjust plans to best teach their riders. Discussion of volunteer involvement and management will be included as needed.

What if I can’t attend during the live time? Purchasing this event will get you access to the live meeting as well as 1 week extended access after the live meeting to watch the video and access any supporting documents. At the end of the extended access week, the recording of the meeting will move into the Intuitive Instructor Club and will be accessible for free to IIC Members.
What arena layout will we use to build the lessons plans? Participants will be able to submit their “favorite” arena layout and the lead instructors will also have a few “simple setups” available. Participants will vote on which arena setup they would like to build the lesson plans from during this specific month’s workshop.
Does this workshop meet continuing education requirements? YES! The format of this meeting meets CEU guidelines for several different certifying organizations in the Equine Assisted Services industry. Please align the content covered in the meeting with your specific organization(s) CEU guidelines.
