The Coastal Therapeutic Riding Program is looking for a PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor to join our therapeutic riding team!
We are a growing program serving individuals with disabilities through safe, meaningful, and empowering experiences with horses. We’re looking for an instructor who brings both strong horsemanship and a genuine passion for working with people.
We’re looking for someone who:
🐴 Holds a current PATH Intl. CTRI credential
❤️ Has experience teaching therapeutic riding
🤝 Enjoys working as part of a team with volunteers and program staff
🌱 Can adapt lessons to individual participant needs and goals
🛡️ Prioritizes safety while creating a positive and encouraging environment
😊 Is dependable, professional, and compassionateThe position:
Part-time | 1099 contractor
$15 per rider per scheduled lesson
Weekday and weekend availability
Wilmington, NCYou’ll work alongside our Program Director, instructors, volunteers, and wonderful group of therapy horses to provide participants with experiences that build confidence, skills, independence, and connection.
We’re especially interested in finding someone who wants to become a consistent part of our team as our program continues to grow.
